Kirby spent many years as a licensed Financial Advisor. Helping clients invest towards their retirement is one of the things that Kirby always liked most. He liked helping people invest for short-term reward too but investing for the long-term was his passion. He worked with everyone from CEOs to Janitors and that gave him lots of satisfaction. Kirby’s unique financial background allows him to bring some different contributions to the table, in the construction world.
Kirby is a graduate of The University of Georgia, majoring in Risk Management & Insurance in the Terry College of Business. The education and training he received helps him understand the ins and outs of insurance policies. Business School prepared him to handle any situation that might arise. Having been a Financial Advisor really helps Kirby in his day-to-day work with current customers. He tries to make the process as easy as possible.
Kirby has three beautiful daughters whom he adores. They are currently ages 8, 6, and 4. He has his hands full…and his heart too!
After growing up in Columbus, GA, Kirby’s family moved to Athens, GA when he was in 8th grade. After graduating from Oconee County High School, Kirby went on to graduate from the University of Georgia. He considers Athens as his hometown.
As a third-generation football letterman at the University of Georgia, Kirby bleeds Red & Black. With his love for Georgia Football, Saturdays in the fall are filled with tailgating with friends and family and attending as many Georgia games as possible. He currently enjoys golf and is an avid sand volleyball player.
Fly Fishing has become Kirby’s passion over the past decade. He gets to the North Georgia or North Carolina Mountains every chance he gets. He has also been fly fishing in Montana and Wyoming.
Kirby is a huge fan of every genre of music, as long as it was released before 2010. He is not a fan of the music from the 2010s…but has high hopes that the ‘20s will be better!
